How to enable Equalizer, WOW effect, Dolby Surround, Video enhancer in Windows media Player 12

windows-media-player-12-iconPeople may think that Windows media player 12 Built in in Windows 7 does not have equalizer, SRS Turbo Bass, WOW effect, Dolby surround settings also video enhancement settings in it. Its really disappointing  when people try to set the equalizer or dolby in WMP12, But couldn’t find it anywhere.

Well who don’t like Windows Media Player will start loving it after reading this post..

WMP 12 is a wonderful media player which got almost every cool feature that a good media player should have. It has Graphic Equalizer, SRS Turbo Bass, WOW effect, Dolby surround settings also video enhancement settings in it. Shocked? Yes Just follow the steps below to enable all the secret features of WMP 12.

Enable Graphic Equalizer:

1. Open Windows Media Player 12 (Compact View).

2. Press Alt or Right click manu bar to get the menu, and navigate to View> Enhancement> Graphic Equalizer .

3. Click on Turn On as shown in below screenshot and adjust according to your choice.

Enable SRS WOW Effect & TruBass:

1. To enable SRS WOW Effect and TruBass Press Alt or Right click manu bar to get the menu, and navigate to View> Enhancement> SRS WOW Effect

2. Now Turn on SRS WOW Effect and set the level of your choice. You can also edit TruBass settings and speaker settings from there.

Enable Dolby Digital surround sound:

To enable it Press Alt or Right click manu bar to get the menu, and navigate to View> Enhancement> Dolby Digital Settings.

Enable Video settings:

While watching a video you may adjust the Brightness, Contrast, Hue effect, Saturation settings in Windows Media Player 12. You can also adjust video zoom settings from there.

To enable it Press Alt or Right click manu bar to get the menu, and navigate to View> Enhancement> Video Settings and adjust for best video watching experience.
